It might be sad to get stuck in one place for now, but it’s an excellent opportunity to change your grooming routine. Consider growing and experimenting with a beard. Since you have more time for grooming and have greater flexibility in your appearance at home, it is the perfect time to try growing that magnificent mane. Here are a few tips to guide you in your look-altering journey:

Take Care of Your Body.

Believe it or not, the first step to growing a luscious beard is by having a healthy body that is an excellent place for it to grow. Aside from having fantastic genetics, a well-rested, well-fed, and well-exercised body is the secret to healthy hair growth. Staying on top of your luscious growth, which is a secret to a good-looking beard.

Trim it Well.

After at least a month of growing, trim your beard. Give it shape, style it, and let it feel fierce on its own. Using a quality beard trimmer, clean up the sides, the top, and the part below your chin. Get a beard trimmer with multiple attachments and use them according to your liking.

Utilizing every tool that comes with the trimmer should give you better results—a well-trimmed beard and a fierce-looking face. After trimming, make sure to give it a quick comb. We’re going for a natural, but not dirty, look. It’s important to comb your beard in place once after waking up, again at noon, and once before you go to bed.

Find the Perfect Beard Shape.

Defining a beard is one of the essential parts of growing a beard. It gives character, personality, and style to the fluff of hair on your face. Keep in mind that there is no best beard style. Try to pick the beard shape that best suits your face shape.

After shaping your beard, never forget to clean up around the edges to make it look like you’re intentional about your beard. It is the best way to remain semi-presentable while rocking a mane. Try to avoid the dreaded “neckbeard” or hair growing on your Adam’s apple. Leaving it on will risk you from losing the depth of your beard growth.

Use Beard Oil.

For another layer of benefits, using beard oil regularly can improve your skin and beard’s moisture. In effect, it creates a layer of protection and reduces skin irritation and dandruff. You can say goodbye to itch and redness withbeard oil. Remember to apply the product every after wash or shower to soften your beard and give it control.

Keep it Clean.

Washing your beard at least twice a week will help stave off the itchiness and keep it smooth. However, try not to use regular body soaps as they can cause your beard to dry out, leading to itchiness and irritation. While shampoos and conditioners work well, choosing a properbeard wash is a better choice for that silky clean beard.

Keep in mind that it’s your beard—wear it as you own it. In some cases, it is the first thing people might notice about your face. As long as you’re happy and proud of what you’ve grown, then it should be all good.
