When it comes to showing off your facial hair, it’s easy to get lost in the modern era’s scuffle and saturated fashion statements. You must come up with a look that will speak volumes against other styles making waves nowadays.

Remember that no beard or mustache style is ever a standard, as all are aesthetically pleasing, so as long as the one showing them off has the confidence and finesse to show them in public.

With all of that said, even if there is no right or wrong style when it comes to facial hairs, you must still remember that they often say a lot about the personality of the one flaunting them. This can significantly affect your style, as even if you’re going for a subtle one, you may end up showing off an intimidating look, and even the same thing can be said about the opposite.

On that note, you may want to take a look at everyday facial hairstyles today. By familiarizing yourself with them, you may develop a facial aesthetic that will express more about yourself than the look you are aiming for.

1) The Stubble

This is one style that you may find among the most charming celebrities of today. Think of this as a clean style that barely reaches its full potential, meaning that there are traces of hair, just enough to adorn their chins.

It’s a very shortened version of the beard, but it’s way too short to be even called a beard. Now, don’t be fooled by the lazy implications—it’s ranked as the most attractive style among men. This can only mean that the person showing this off may be laid back yet, self-aware of their natural charm.

2) The Goatee

This is probably one of the most recognizable styles of facial hair. While people’s perceptions about it are mostly trivial, it gives off a certain feeling of charm and confidence. Think—Tony Stark!

You wouldn’t be able to find any other style that speaks so much despite being reasonably subtle. The goatee usually relies on the simplicity of its aesthetics, meaning that the person showing it off doesn’t have to prove anything as they are already all that, to the point that people already know what to expect from them.

This doesn’t imply anything negative about the person but rather, the complete coolness that goes along with it.

3) The Full Beard

Not many people would attempt this style as there are many risks of failure, mainly because the world usually equates unshaved to unhygienic. However, if a person could pull this off, they will prove their critics wrong.

The full beard expresses a notion about the carefree nature of the person donning it, usually associated with the term “bad-ass.” People who have this style are often believed to be bikers, graphic designers, and lumberjacks, and all of those are closer to the truth than you would expect.

Facial hairs are a perfect way for men to express themselves and their style. However, they should also consider knowing about the image that the different styles would give off. Since each of them has their personality, they must match that with the aesthetics they’re aiming for so that they will never get lost in the saturated fashion of modern facial hairstyles.

The stubble, the goatee, and the full beard all have something to prove. If you’re planning to adapt any of those styles, are you prepared to go along the notions surrounding each?
